This is by far the very worst healthcare system imaginable. Impossible to get an appointment. When you do reach someone they don't have the ability to set the appointment. SO you then have to wait even longer for someone to call back . This is the biggest runaround you will ever experience in your life. One star is too many but they wouldn't let me put zero.

The lack of professionalism of this place is incredible, they do not have any kind of respect for the patient's time, or obviously, how he feels physically. My mother has lost a month with them and they are irresponsible when picking it up, they are never on time, and they never contact her to apologize for the delay. They do appointment and cancel without explanation either. Without a doubt Cano Health is the worst health care company I have ever had the displeasure to work with. There is no communication from Dr. to patient and none within the company. I take a statin for cholesterol and have taken it for years. Cano took over the practice I had been going to and now I've been waiting for over a month for a refill. On June 4, 2020 I made an appointment to talk to Dr. William Pena. They gave me a phone call appointment for August 12, 2020. They called me on Monday, August 10th to confirm my appointment. We rescheduled it for today, Thursday, August 13, 2020. After 2 1/2 months and 1 hour, waiting to finally talk to Dr. Pena, a woman called Patricia (claiming to be a Manager) called me and told me that I cannot talk to Dr. Pena because I don't live in FL. Worst medical experience in my life. The only reason I was even affiliated with this company is because my doctor of 18 years joined them. I went there one time in July for my annual. I got a call from them a week later and when I called back they said they didn't know why anybody had called me. However a long 30 second message was left on my voicemail in Spanish. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. My family has been going to this practice for 30 years and as soon as Cano took over, it has been pure chaos. They NEVER return phone calls and they NEVER get referrals or prescriptions right. This week my dad has to have surgery for bladder cancer and my mom, who works a full time job, has basically spent yesterday and today on the phone with these idiots because they didn't get the script for a Covid test at the hospital correct, nor the order for the surgery correct either. I cannot speak Spanish, Impossible, they text me in Florida Blue set my appointment 50 miles away, when I asked for a Dr. Closer, I get all Hispanics ,I can't understand WTF? .

I am only selecting a rating because it is required in order to post my review. I strongly suggest that anyone deciding to use Cano Health do a deep search as they have acquired Primary Care Physicians of Hollywood, a practice owned by Dr. Moises Issa. After much difficulty obtaining referrals and 2 close calls with what could have been serious health issues due to a Nurse Practitioner calling in the wrong medications on refills, I am finally changing to a new primary care physician.
