I would have recommend Cano health but not anymore. I went into my Appointment today and i was told i will not be seen anymore. This office is a block away from me and has been my doctor for years. Now Does not take private insurance . Only medicare and Obamacare. Its ridiculous that you would do a change like that over night and not let anyone know. so now i cant see my doctor for 20 years. Worst place ever they don’t know how to do referrals to specialists offices they want there patients to do it themselves.My mother is wheelchair bound now for a few weeks told the doctor that she has there sent her for an X-ray when she went back to c him oh nothing is wrong I don’t c anything but he sure knows show to prescribe pain medication. I work for a Specialist office and I have never seen a more difficult Primary Care facility then Cano Healths Deerfield Beach location! We have the hardest times getting referrals for our patients. Multiple requests are sent with no response. The referrals are often made wrong. Wrong CPT codes etc. We have to reschedule our patients constantly due to no referral. La oficina de Cano ubicada en 112 sw y 40 st en Miami está muy bonita pero la señora de la recepción tiene muy mal carácter y habla alto, tal parece que está disgustada todo el tiempo. Their Clermont office has had a major decline in the last year or more. My doctor Melanie Simpson is the hardest person to get in contact with regarding getting med and appointments. The call center is a freaking joke I have called over 26 times during the last week and no one has helped me or my wife with our issue. Very Poor Company, I had a colonoscopy scheduled for April 3rd and made the appointment 60 days in advance. Cano health in Riverview, Dr Raul Ayala’s office said they were to busy today to fax an authorization form for Monday’s procedure and now it’s cancelled. They had 60 days to get the paperwork completed and they waited till the last minute and now it’s too late. 😠 NO. My dad's eye surgery was cancelled because they did not submit the paperwork on time. They were waiting on the patient to do that. They have partnerships and their staff don't have any clue. They are centralized by a call center with people who has no clue about ay of the procedures. Cano Health was bought out by a private company or at least the major part of the actions were sold out to another medical company. They are just publicity but their services have declined tremendously since my dad started 5 years ago.
