Im not trying to convince anyone to disregard this place, Im just sharing my experience and you can do with this information whatever you wish. Ive always had private Insurance until I lost my job and had to go with Obama care. This place (Cano) is soo bad I would rather go without health Insurance because their service is so terrible you could have a heart attack at any minute while dealing with them. You don't deal directly with the clinic, instead they send all of your calls to a call center and thats where the nightmare ... read more

This company is terrible, does not care about your health. Cano Health bought a primary care office in fort Lauderdale about year ago where I was a patient for 15 years with same doctor who left the Cano Health Netwok. Since their purchase I never seen the same doctor always a new one. after 4 visits, I still do not know who is my primary care doctor. When you ask for the updated referral for specialist that you have been seen for long time prior their purchase, they do not approve it or delayed so they can referrer you to ... read more

This company is terrible, does not care about your health. Cano Health bought a primary care office in fort Lauderdale about year ago where I was a patient for 15 years with same doctor who left the Cano Health Netwok. Cano Health? They care NOTHING about your health! They do not send referrals to specialists , lying to you, saying they do! I tried for 3 months to get a referral to an othorpedist. I had to cancel 3 appointments because referral was never sent. I called my Aetna insurance who told me Cano Health never requested a referral! I had to pay out of pocket yesterday to see my orthopedist $250 because of Cano's neglect and incompetency. Cano Health referrals arenstill lying to me saying they requested the referral! They seemed more concerned with charging my insurance than actually providing a service of any kind. There is barely anyone who speaks English available to attend English speaking patients and if I were to initiate a conversation in English I was immediately dismissed, thank god I speak Spanish. The parking system is atrocious, requiring patients to leave their car in an unattended fenced in parking lot then be taken back to the office to be seen by a doctor (which takes an unreasonable amount of time). Avoid avoid avoid! The worst care any medical facility can give. They have 1 call center to call for appointments, prescriptions, etc. I can never get my meds refilled when I need them. As a diabetic that relies on getting needed medication, I sometimes have to go to urgent care, to get them, because of their incompetence. They don't care about the patient, only the revenue that each patient generates. Bad business.
