Cano "Health" Is a huge problem and has no credibility. Since Cano "HEALTH" purchased my doctor's office, it has been nothing but trouble, When I call my doctor's office (same phone number as before Cano came into the picture), the Cano people answer the phone and NEVER DO ANYTHING CORRECTLY -- THEY JUST TAKE MESSAGES THAT GENERALLY NEVER GET TO THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE PERSONNEL. Care Quality, and office: I have been going to Cano Health for years on University and the quality of service has decreased. Yesterday left message for doctor that my sugar was high in am, and did not receive a call. Today Thursday am, I called for an urgent referral for Monday at the Endocrinology, Dr Campos said I have to come in tomorrow, is there enough time for this urgent request? probably not. I went to Cano Health thinking I was going to get good care. Nothing could have prepared me for the nightmare that it has been to be a member of Cano Health. They take forever to process orders by a specialist they take forever to see you once you get there even if you have an appointment, the doctor is basically an idiot that follows every last thing big Pharma tells him to do. Dr. Idalia Mendez was my primary care at the kendall and 95th loacation. She is arrogant and humilliated me. I am 73 and disabled and this lady is not qualified to deal with elderly seniors , especially if they are sick like me. I have a heart condition and was shut down by this lady stating that her employer limits the time they can spend with a patient to 15 minutes. There are many Primary doctors in the Kendall area and I don't have to put up with her abuse of the lederly. I have launched a complaint with Medicare alread... read more

Cano Health should be ashamed of Dr. Idalia Mendez, a Primary Care Phisician working at the 9555 N.Kendall Drive facility. She is arrogant, and insults the elderly. I know from experience because I was a patient there but never again! I decided to complain to Paula at the executive office but also with the Medicare board. This lady has no business treating the elderly like myself. I'm 73, disabled and have left Cano Health after sending me to another facility following my complaint.
