3/17/2017 - REVIEW FOR DR. ARNALDO VILLAFRANCA & HIS STAFF Been here twice to see Dr. Villafranca and it has always been a pleasant experience. From the check in to the check out process the staff has always been friendly and courteous. Dr. Villafranca is very professional and really takes the time to speak with you. Also, he makes sure that before you leave, you do not have any questions.
Cano Health is the worse! Been going to Family Practice for 12yrs..then all the sudden they changed it to Cano Health ..The service is terrible trying to get a referral..I have been with Humana Gold Plus Advantage Plan for 15yrs..which you need to get referrals for specialist..well good luck getting one...been going to Cano Health for about a year..and it is becoming a nightmare with getting referral s from them...I call..my specialist call and still can't get any answers from the referral dept. The referral process for Cano health is a disaster, they don't answer their phones. They have these out of the country agents that you can barely understand, taking messages making the patients wait longer for care which is not fair and should be against a health ethics law. I will not suggest any patient with HMO's, go for care at CANO health and that's for all their location. JUST NOT RIGHT!!!!!
terrible time. referral given by Humana but never reached the proper place. cannot speak to my doctor. I am only able to speak to some employee who knows nothing. I am furious. will complain as far up the ladder as I can. this is not health care.
This is by far the worst, I mean the WORST clinic anyone can assigned to please be aware and stay away. I've been assigned to them for a couple of months by and I have nothing but HORRIBLE experiences. The lack of professionalism is outrageous. I've had my appointments canceled by my optometrist 4× I repeat 4x all because they couldn't get my referral right. Everytime, I called they phone line goes through a call center. Although my doctor at Cano was especially helpful, I found the extreme wait at my last visit to be unnecessarily long. There were other patients that arrived later than me who had been taken care of before I was seen & I felt forgotten. When I approached the front desk to inquire I was delayed again & decided to leave without notice. It seems poorly run & I only hope this was an exception to the otherwise expeditious treatment I was accustomed to receiving!
The office on Taft st is a disaster's ,with the exception of dr De Miranda who is a fantastic doctor,My main complaints has to do with the referral manager who manipulates and delayed the referrals costing patients to loose appointments because no referral on file,this is unhuman. considering that mean while am suffering with pain ,this behavior add stress to my original disease,am seriously considering to take legal action and to bring it to higher levels and is time to stop your game of lies,if you cannot fulllfil with you... read more

Very disappointed with your Palm Harbor staff service. I have had issues with the billing of my insurance company. I have had serveral conversations with both Humana the office staff. I was told by Humana they did not code the service properly and the staff says the did. A patient should not have to tell the provider how to code the service to get it covered. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor that is concerned with providing quality service. I do not recommend Cano.
