Our son has found a place where he has made friends and is learning and using the skills he needs to function on a daily basis. This program has helped him gain confidence in himself and has given him the opportunity to grow at his own pace. The mentors and clinicians have been a monumental part of his success. Taylor's progress at New Directions has been exponentially greater than any of the other Programs we have tried. He is med compliant for the first time and is no longer isolating. I highly recommend New Directions here and have already done so in person many time. A good place with good people. The mentoring is a unique and very successful factor.

New Directions has a comprehensive program that allows young adults to pursue independence with supports and allows families to rest easy knowing their young adults are taken care of using a combination of professionals and mentors. It is a good way to disrupt patterns developed by continuing to live at home.

My young adult has been here since autumn of 2023. Of all the many placements he has ever been in, this is the only one where he is actually making real progress - thanks to the exceptional staff and wonderful administration - educationally, socially, physically, mentally, emotionally, behaviorally, and vocationally. So many opportunities for growth here. New Directions continues to be a place of growth for our daughter as the program continually accommodates her changing needs, which have become less and less due to all of the support and knowledge that she has gained for having been part of NDFYA!
