Be very very careful with Cano Health. My mother-in-law was taken to this clinic after a fall, they didn't have technicians to take the X-ray. Consequently we have to drive her to the one in University Drive. X-ray were taken . We had to call back the next day for the results. We were told that there were no broken bones. 3 weeks late at hospital we find out that she have two broken ribs. And the results were gotten with an Rx . I can’t begin to say how pleased I am with Dr. Daniel Leon, his staff and this clinic! My mom is 88 years old and I was looking for a clinic with a good physician and a wellness center. I wanted to get her out of the house and have her interact with people her age. Not only do they have exercise and art classes but they have a special transportation that picks her up and drops her off. I would put no stars. I got the run around from at least 10 different people by phone and in person and they tell me I need a referral to get lab work. I call on the phone they tell me that’s not true, they set up an appointment, I arrive and they tell me I need doctors orders. I call again, they tell me that the management will call me. If you love your family members or your self please, please don’t come to Cano health Centers, the service is horrible. My mother need it a referral to go to an specialist and she miss her appointment because the referral department was negligence enough that they didn’t request not even that of her appointment the referral was initiated through the health insurance and also my mother complained about her lung was hurting and her doctor said the was a muscle pain the same day I have to rush her to the hospital with pulmona... read more
