My husband has Dr. Juan F Ortiz as his primary physician. He is a wonderful doctor, he's very thorough and takes time to listen to his patients,and explains very thing so the patient understand and not be confused. The medical assistants are very courteous and knowledgeable. The ladies in the front desk are sweet, courteous and friendly.
Horrible wait time to speak to someone, over an hour just to make an appointment. I am a provider trying to reach the office to get the correct fax number and tried all the options to see if I can reach someone faster using the appointment line versus referral. Horrible both ways. Can’t imagine being a patient for Cano. Whenever we have a patient that has Cano we groan as we know it’ll take FOREVER to reach anyone or get authorization for the member.
I been with this office for Years. This Used to be the BEST in town when I had Dr.Ortiz … but now it is VERY Ghetto. They issue medications wrong now, You wait forever for the phone to be answered, you never know which provider you will see on appointment day and you’re treated like an intruder. I hate it so much and there needs to be correction ASAP or Closure.
I have been a Patient of Dr Ortiz for over 4 years now he is a Great Dr. The office on the other hand is more of a headache then anything else. Yesterday I tried to Reschedule my appointment and was told Do to CANO Health's new policies I would have to find another Dr. Dr Ortiz can now only see Medicare/Medicaid Patients and that I would have to schedule with a new Dr in there network or find some other place. CANO Health Patients have become nothing but a number and money generater for them over true Patient care.
Orlando Betancourt is always caring, loving , kind and he listens. Look forward to seeing him for all my medical needs..two thumbs up from me... the entire office is sweet.
