I wanted so bad not to write a review but I have exhausted my patience with this organization. My mum goes there and sees a physician assistance which is decent but my god the staff is so darn ….. customer service is poor. They never do what they say they are going to to. You have to call 50 million times to get something done. My mum likes the person she sees but at this point as her caregiver I have no choice but to change doctors. It is ridiculous to treat people like this.
I am a care giver for my elderly mother and can’t get support for her. The social services case worker at the Lauderdale Lakes facility never returned my calls. Referrals are inaccurate, incomplete or never sent to the physicians. We arrive for a 7:45am appointment and the office isn’t open yet. All Cano offices seem to be the same. The doctor completely missed a blood clot in mother’s leg. I have searched continuously over the years for medical support and can’t find decent caring people. The only positive is a nurse nak... read more
Too much disorganization for the appointments, my doctor was no longer there and they did not notify me to reschedule, I had to do it myself. Then they gave me another doctor and with two days to go before the appointment they told me that he only works for Medicaid when they assigned me. My father was asking for his sugar medicine for almost 3 weeks, daily calls and he is still waiting for it. Very bad service and they treat the health of their patients as a game
I rather go to a doctor's office that speak the same language as me. Majority of the staff speak little English and when you don't understand what they are saying, they get a funky attitude. They are slow with everything, getting referrals, sending your medicine to the pharmacy, omg...I was time for me to find another doctor. I noticed that Spanish speakers get priority services over others.
Good luck with Cano Health. You can be in the hospital trying to speak with your PCP and they will not put the call through or even take a message. I have never heard of such poor health care.
