If it could be possible I wouldn’t give any star. This guys have gone from bad to worst. Spent the whole morning in the waiting room for my 9:15 am appointment, left without seeing the Dr. after the very unprofessional front desk tried to play on me saying, she have told me my appointment was at 10:30am, so I need to wait, despite the fact of me having a card with my appointment’s time, and being at the office 15 minutes before that time. They never see you at the scheduled time. You have to wait for an hour or more to be seen. They have a 15 minutes policy like most doctors offices and today I had an appointment today at 4:15pm and arrived like around 4:20 ish (they always make you wait an hour) and they canceled my appointment after waiting for a month for this appointment. Dr. Castro office has leaves me never wanting to deal with Cano Health again... They never call back when you inquire about info even tho they promise they will. Which is understandable at times. Today was the last straw however, I set an appt for tomorrow just to be called back 20min later and be told Cano only excepts Medicaid starting July 1. Horrible transition from Dr Castro to Cano Health. Even though their transition to Cano health was effective on Sept 1, 2023 and my appointment was on August 28, they did not respect and considered that my appointment with Dr Castro was a follow up and without any empathy changed it for me to see another doctor. The new doctor didn’t have a clue of was going on and probably due to the frustration with my questions became argumentative with me and very unprofessional.To resume, I wasted my time and my money going there. Personally not a great experience. This medial group caters primarily to the Hispanic community and I felt like I was being treated differently. For example, I got lab work and X-rays done and I had to fight to get my meds filled - there was an issue with two different doctors seeing me. But labs are labs and the results will show you. No one called to follow up on my results from the X-rays. Even it nothing was wrong a courtesy call would have been nice. I had to call and reach out to get scheduled.
